Our Protocol on Errata and Updates
When an error is substantiated by primary documentation, we update the story immediately. Minor typographical fixes that do not change material meaning are corrected silently. Substantive corrections involving numbers, citations, quotes, or key technical conclusions are accompanied by a clear, timestamped correction notice at the bottom or top of the article.
Retractions are issued only in the rare case of unrecoverable factual inaccuracy or discovered academic fraud in primary sources. In such cases, the original article is marked retracted with an editor's statement explaining the full rationale.
